BSNL Chennai Telephones introduces a new 2G prepaid plan “NESAM STUDENT” for the student community

Rs.20 for UNIFIED NESAM STUDENT SIM with 0 Talk Value & Validity for 7 days (SIM is given free up to 31.07.2011)

Rs.29/- for First Recharge Coupen through C Top-up only with Initial Free Talk Value of 50 Min. To Any NW which has to be used within first 30 days

1200 Local SMS allowed initially and should be used within first 30 days

Validity for Lifetime (Minimum Topup of Rs.200/- for every 6 months) or Topup of Rs20/- & above also extends validity proportionately

Local/STD call charges are 1 ps/sec to BSNL and 1.2 ps / sec to other networks.

2200 Free SMS from second month by deducting Rs.23/- from balance within first 3 consecutive days of calendar month. If no balance is available, only 200 free SMS will be given. Beyond free limit local SMS is chargeable at 50ps/ SMS.

Friends and Family allowed for any 5 nos. of any network in Chennai & Tamilnadu) for which 10 ps/min will be charged on BSNL network and 30 ps/min for other networks.

Change of FFE numbers are allowed anytime with Rs.5/- per change per number

All other charges are as per general pre-paid plan
